I am having so much fun with the sequel to Never Surrender and many of you have been waiting way too long for me to finish this. I'm at 75,000 and have made major progress in the last month.
I can't spill any of the major life events that Kate and Brandon hit throughout the book, but you will need a box of tissues while you read Final Surrender. Kate's best friend, Monica, plays a role as interpreter for the past lives they've had and how it all weaves together in the present time. Click over to read an excerpt from Final Surrender, but it does come with an R-rating!
Toward the end of the book, Kate plays matchmaker for Monica and Brandon agrees to set her up for a date with his director (What director? Can't tell you yet!). Both Monica and Cody live 2600 miles away from each other, which is further complicated by the very busy life style each of them has. Is there enough of a spark between them to create a fire when they live that far apart? I'll explore that in book three, Complete Surrender.
For now, I hope those of you who have not yet read Never Surrender will grab your copy and get started before book two is released later this year. Visit the page links below to learn more about all the characters whose lives are intertwined.

Harvard graduate Margaret Stines rejects the job offered on a silver platter by her father. With a modeling contract in one hand and her possessions in the other, she leaves the neon lights of Glittertown for San Diego. She’d rather enlist in the Navy than marry the Hollywood wannabe executives her father brings home for dinner. A rebel at heart, Marg is seduced into the arms of a sailor. Only he’s the wrong one and when she meets his best friend Patrick Cobbs, she realizes her impetuous act will crucify her in his eyes.
Patrick is given one chance to leave the slums of San Diego to become a Navy SEAL. Recently graduated from BUD/S training, he and his swim buddy Thane Austen are infallible and cocky, certain they’ll earn their Tridents. While celebrating their success at St. George’s, Patrick meets Marg, but there’s no time to start a slow burn between them when the club goes up in flames. Worlds apart, Pat is the last guy Marg’s anti-military parents want for their daughter. With her grandfather’s name etched on the Wall of the Fallen, Marg’s father will do anything to keep them apart. Pat’s father’s a drunk; his family is poor. He has nothing to offer Marg except the man he wants to become. Only one person believes in them, and he’s dead.

Separate incidents that took place a world apart have brought Audrey Cooper and Lincoln Stewart to the same place...Brighton Cove.
An international journalist, Audrey is still reeling from her months held captive. Haunted by atrocities no person should be forced to witness, she immerses herself...renovating her great-grandfather's farm house in Brighton Cove where she spent so many memorable summers. Home. A place she feels she can heal and begin again.
Lincoln moved to Brighton Cove with his late wife to pursue his art. With his wife's sudden and tragic death Lincoln throws himself into his work and his solitude. When his new neighbor appears, he is drawn out of his seclusion with much curiosity and attraction.
Can these two find love in spite of their dark pasts?

Do you believe in past lives?
Do you believe in souls reconnecting through time? Do you think the person you're with was connected to your life in a past life? I do, that's why I write about it. My character is pulled back in time so that she can reconnect to her soul mate in the present time.
Will their love from a past life stay as strong as it once was when they reconnect? You have to read to find that out. Kate and Brandon must fight for what they believe in even though evil from the past follows into their future to destroy what they have in the present.
I believe love wins no matter what. We all have to have something to believe in and I choose love because what I've found in my current soul mate is too astonishing to NOT have been for a special reason from a past life. We finish each others sentences and know what the other will say almost before we say it. Has your partner ever said something at the same time you were thinking it? Is that fate or something else? I'm not sure what it is, but it's eerie!
My novel, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29096448-never-surrender" target="_blank">Never Surrender, is a story that nearly wrote itself and I hear from readers all the time of how it touched their soul, that they felt as though they were right there in the book with my characters. Please stop over to my page at Goodreads and add the book to your WANT-TO-READ list. I would love to see all of those notices come through my Goodreads mail. Thank you so much. Please share this with your followers for me.
Psstt, if you're reading this before July 26th, 2016, get into my contest in the previous post!
