Warmer Weather Outside!
I'm glad it's finally warmer outside and I know I'm not alone in feeling that. My garden relaxes me and I love the smell of the flowers and fresh cut gras. Getting out gives me a breath of fresh air, bringing in new thoughts, ideas and plots. Even the above photo inspires me to think about plot lines for another story. Relaxing enables me to talk with the characters who tap my shoulder, wanting to tell me their ideas instead of what I might be dreaming up for them. Because somehow, they seem to know before I do that what I have planned for them is not what they're wanting to do in the story. They seem to have the idea that they're the writer instead of me and I have to admit, some of their ideas actually are better than mine for the flow of the story line. There, I said it. LOL
What are some of the things you'll be doing this summer? I hope you leave me comments so we can share what's happening in your life, too. Mr. Jewel and I are taking an Alaskan Cruise up through the passage. No excursions are planned yet. We'll wait to see how the weather is and go from there. I can't wait to see some of the wildlife up there. I'm a moose fanatic and will be posting my pictures when we return, just so you know.
Now we've never been on a cruise before, so we'll be newbies. That's not always the best thing, but we're traveling with experienced friends who we trust and look forward to a great time. Any suggestions out there that we might find useful? Please leave your comments for me. I can't wait to read your ideas and summer plans!
